Food supply chains provide the link between primary producers and the consumer through intermediaries such as processors, manufacturers, ingredients suppliers, marketing organizations, wholesalers and retailers. Not only must all of these aspects of the food supply chain link effectively together, but they must address the issues of sustainability by considering the economic, social and environmental aspects and impacts of food supply.

This degree, therefore, focuses on addressing these issues, as well as the management and quality enhancement of products from field to fork.
